DANGER SPOTTED ON BEACH on the beach while in the sea with german shepherd cayman islands caribbean ocean beach

The girl and the dog spotted some trouble (a fight, police) on the beach and I got both their reactions.  It's hit or miss with street photography, but nice to capture a narrative.

Yes, another shot of a pier. I'm looking for new things, maybe some interior shots, coming up with some ideas.

a beautiful girl watching the sunset in grand cayman, cayman islands at 6:09 pm, the golden hour, very pretty

Another shot at the golden hour.  This time of the day will always make your photos come out gorgeous and if you look it's just the soft cool calm light spread out against the evening sky.       caymanchess@yahoo.com )

yellow apartments at the golden hour around 6:01 PM in grand cayman cayman islands near seven mile beach with a nice sky and clouds

This is taken during the golden hour around sunset.  The sun is shining across the land and although straight across - it's lighter and cooler than the top of the day (in which case this photos would be too harshly lit, that top light beaming straight down).  The colours work:  blues, greens, whites, grey, yellow- and the two trees give it an interesting composition. Just wanted to take a very ordinary view and give it a bit of justice - a kind of democratic photography.

a pier in grand cayman cayman islands, north sound, beach caribbean vacation photography hdr

Ok, this is, very likely, one of the last piers I have not photographed in Grand Cayman.  The composition is a little different in that there is a tree on the right side.  I shot this in f8, 9 frames ranging from -4 to +4, fairly typical for landscape.  I'm more interested, at the moment in street photography (and my photographic interests change) of the most candid variety.  But I'm a bit limited in this respect, here, in the Cayman Islands - but I do see opportunities (mostly abroad) and I take them.  If you look far in the distance, slightly to the viewers left of the top of the pier:  that's Rum Point, as kind of weekend getaway place.  Tourists and locals go, maybe more of the former than the latter nowadays.

man looking at girl dancing while in a wheelchair at 6:43 pm on Tuesday

The narrative in this photo is pretty self-evident.  I loved the natural juxtaposition of these two people.  This was taken on Ocean Drive in South Beach, Miami at the Clevelander Bar.

It was always a photo I wanted to stage in some kind of presentation.  I like the effect of the girl dancing being blurred, a kind of 'blurred' image of youth in contrast to his very stationary position.  He is wheelchair bound and she is youthful movement.  In my mind:   It is more important to capture a strong narrative and if the photo should be good, then all the better, but it need not be technically perfect - well, that's my format.
