The kids in this photograph were playing barefoot outside this house and I was more drawn to the their boundless spirit and joy than the houses in this challenging economic area. The girl looking through the little window said, "if we really market ourselves on the internet and stuff - we can make it to New York or Paris, or sumpin like that"- Really adorable and i'm sorry I didn't take more photos in this area. I think when you go into areas that are economically challenged expected to find unhappy people (whether they may children or adults): You simply will not find them, they tend to be happy with no walls of expectations to climb. And that should say something.
