A gravel and sand road in the Cayman Islands 12:54 pm Monday
This is a traditional road in the Cayman Islands made of limestone rock and sand. The photo was taken on the North Side of the Island where some roads have not been paved. The Island's existing roads were previously walking paths and up until the 1970's many were shouldered closely by tropical plants, like this road. The low stone wall on the left is a very traditional style and was brought over by Scottish(and Welsh) settlors. This is another "off the beaten path" bit of scenery.
